Sports parents and coaches are constantly preaching to their young athletes to work hard to achieve their goals.
Rightfully so!
However, adults forget that kids have a hard time really getting the concept of “delayed gratification.” Meaning, work hard now for a payoff later. As the youth mental toughness trainer having been inside many kids’ heads, I have found ways of using the kids’ natural motivation for “instant gratification” and in the video below, I give you one.
